Overcast podcast app adds features
Overcast is podcast app that I use which has some interesting features, including cutting out silences between words and playing at higher speeds without voice distortion. With version 5, Marco Arment added Siri Shorcuts support and redesigned the Now Playing interface to include a chapter list.
Below is the main screen in Overcast.

Touch the plus button (+) on the upper right to search for and add podcasts to Overcast.
After finding a podcast, you can go in and subscribe to it or just download a past episode without subscribing to try it.
At the main screen, the down arrow brings you to the Downloads page. This shows the status of currently downloading episodes.
Clicking on a podcast in the main screen and choosing Unplayed shows the available downloaded episodes.
Overcast is a free app with a yearly paid upgrade to turn off ads at the bottom of the screen and upload your own files to the app.
Downcast is another podcast app that I use which has other interesting features, including playing video podcasts, a landscape layout, and a Mac version that uses iCloud to sync with the iOS version. I discuss more about Downcast here.
