How to add a date stamp to your iOS photos
My mother has always liked having a date stamp on her photos; back to the days of the point and shoot camera she used. However, when she moved up to the iPhone, the Camera and Photo apps did not have the feature to add a date stamp. The solution was a handy photo utility called DateStamper.
DateStamper can be used as a camera app that adds a date stamp as you take pictures or to add date stamps to saved pictures later. DateStamper is a straightforward utility, with some customization for the stamp style and location. The date stamp is non-destructive and you can always revert to the original picture in Photos to remove the stamp. DateStamper can also batch stamp multiple photos.
DateStamper can work as an editing utility in the Photos app or you can date stamp groups of photos in the DateStamper app itself. For adding a date stamp in Photos, select the Photo and choose Edit

Next choose the three dots button to access third party plug-ins.
Next select DateStamper to add the date stamp.
To batch stamp multiple photos at the same time, open the DateStamper app and select the photos. You can select separate photos, a range, or all pictures. Next click Stamp Photos, with the number of photos that are being stamped.
The Styles menu allow you to change the date format, fonts, colors, and stamp location. Some styles and batch dating of more than 10 pictures at a time require paid upgrades.
DateStamper works well and is well thought out by the developer. The base version of the app is very usable and has no ads. DateStamper was a great solution for my mom.
